Get a bit busy but great service
Downgraded my initial review: I gave this cafe five stars 6 months ago, but after today's visit, I'm changing it to two stars. I've noted that the service has been decreasing and today just finished it for me. I arrived at 2.50pm, and they didn't know to make one of the drinks advertized - the 'turmeric latte' - and I get this response every time I go in. I said I'd sit outside, so that was fine. I chose a chai, which was a nice drink (and saved me giving one star). They had no food at all.I sit outside, and then, ten minutes later, they started packing up removing the tables and chairs around me, without saying a word. I didn't realize that they closed at 3pm because the signs aren't in the windows, and they didn't say anything about it at all when I ordered. So I realized I was sitting outside with a drink I didn't really want, and it was pretty embarrassing so I went away, which is presumably what they were wanting.When I go for a coffee, it's a small solace in a busy world and I'm not expecting it to be this hard. I don't think I'll go back; there is no point.I realize that I am easy to dismiss, being a forty-something female, and this time, I happened to be on my own, but you'd think that's exactly the audience that they would be looking for: local people who want a treat now and again.
Great coffees and breakfasts. Eggs on toast, pastries and good service
Nice place to sit and relax with a nice coffee and good company. Not the cheapest. would recommend!
